Tourism of Azerbaijan attracted a great interest
İn 2nd March “BIT - 2011” International Tourism Exhibition was ended in Milan, Italy.

24 sqm was taken on lease by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the exhibition that lasted four days with the aim to demonstrate tourism potential of our country. The specialist of the sector on propaganda and marketing of the Tourism Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan Leyla Verdiyeva and the expert in tourism of Baku Tourism Center Bakhtiyar Gilinjov briefed the visitors on tourism opportunities in Azerbaijan. “GEO travel” and “Gilan travel” tourist companies of Azerbaijan also took part at exhibition. Tourist companies presented more than 45 countries joined to the exhibition. The participants were handed over various materials and books propagated tourism potential of Azerbaijan in English. All propaganda of tourism potential of our country made created great interest about Azerbaijan on foreigners.
