Azerbaijani Judoka Gains Olympic Championship

Azerbaijani judoka Elnur Mammadli (73kg weight class) became the winner of the Beijing Olympic Games. It took him only 13 seconds to beat a Korean judoka in the final.
Mammadli is a double European champion and the silver winner of the World Judo Championship.
Forty-four sportsmen are representing Azerbaijan at the Beijing Olympic Games.
Beating the Korean judoka, Mammadli became the first sportsman who brought success to Azerbaijan at the Beijing Olympic Games.
